Buying a 5th gen soon..One touch turn signal? And panoramic view monitor?

I totaled my 2001 limited I’ve have since 2004 (sad day). I was interest in a 2023 limited. For those with this year and trim (or others for that matter):
1. Do they have one-touch turn signal (push once and it blinks several times)?
2. Is the panoramic view monitor standard on these models? Any good? Can you see around the truck well?
3. What kind of highway mpgs are you realistically getting?

Thanks

1) no
2) no its not standard, its part of the technology package but i would STRONGLY suggest you stay away from it if you can, its borderline useless and you wont be able to see anything. A limited with just the standard rear view camera only has great picture, any of the new models with the 360degree camera are absolutely useless.
3) well, in august i noticed the fuel mileage start dropping in all our vehicles, so i am quite confident the gubbamint is putting something in the fuel or increasing the amount of Ethanol because all of our vehicles started dropping in August, and all are now about -3mpg lower than they were during the summer. Even though i am not running AC which should net me better mpg, i am considerably lower even with better driving habits trying to get better fuel mileage.
SO, all that said, our new 2023 is getting about 16 on average right now when i know it should be getting 19-20.

Winter fuel blend is a real thing. My mpgs drop off 2-3 in the fall to about 18.5, then go back up to 21+ in the spring. I drive a 2019 TRDOR.

While the image is terrible on the MTM system, the overlay lines are accurate and consistent, and much more useable than on my wife’s VW, which has great images but poorly placed lines. I have stacked objects at bumper height in front and behind my truck, inched towards them until the overlay lines touched them, and then measured the distance from my bumpers to the obstacles. Very useful information. That said, when you get the MTM package, you sacrifice the audible proximity alert, which I miss.

Been studying the wiring diagrams and you should be able to add one touch signal to the 2021+. Currently have my dash pulled apart working on it

Yeah, i read you wrote that in the past, and i also checked how close you were to something with the lines. The camera quality was so bad though, you could NEVER get straight in a parking place unless you were watching mirrors. Using the backup camera only you would constantly end up crooked in a parking spot. The side view was so hard to see, the lines wont help you because the camera quality was absolutely horrendous. The backup camera quality is also, so awful. All of the backup cameras these days show you proximity lines, the new Cali-Raised Anytime camera i installed shows a MUCH better picture and the proximity lines are pretty spot on.
I owned a 2012 Limited with backup camera only with the larger JBL screen and loved it. The new 2023 we just bought was so bad i couldnt stand it and had to fix it.

Good write up with before and after pictures, but the pictures showing the OEM camera quality are pretty clear to see, i give it a 3/10 at best.

Cali Raised LED "anytime" camera on 5th gen?

Ours dropped from 19.1 to 15.7 to 16.5 after August on the dash. Need to do the math after a couple fill ups on the next trip to Montana. 2014 with 347K miles.

Ah, Montana What a beautiful state. Almost moved there years ago.

We are in Stevensville, about 20 miles south of Missoula down in the Bitterroot Valley. The views are incredible. I do not see another home between me and the Bitterroot Range in the background. They are some there, but we have enough buffer with the property that we only see these views. Still can’t believe it’s ours. It was purchased for retirement out of California. My wife is retired but I still have a couple years to go.

Very nice indeed. The Bitterroots are beautiful and quiet, at least last time we were in that area. What a beautiful place you have! It's good that you're in a place and situation you enjoy at this stage of the game. I too am in that age range, but not sure when I'll retire. A lot of things factoring into that decision. Thanks for sharing pics!
