Let's see going from memory, you have to remove the top cover where your shifter(s) are and there are maybe two 10 mm bolts under there. than open the top of the center console and there are 2 more 10 mm bolts near the back way on the bottom. Once those bolts are out you can lift it up and out of the vehicle. It's quite easy.

I added a dealer installed USB outlet to the right side. The instructions are pretty straight forward and the wrong outlet I bought plugged into the wiring for the center console 12 volt supply instead of the T tap method they want you to use.

Did any trim levels on 2010-2014 come with power outlets on the back of the console for the 2nd row to access?

Have you encountered challenges or difficulties with accessing or replacing the 12-volt power points in the backside of your center console, and do you find the provided instructions for the teardown process helpful?
