Air filters

Looking to find them cheaper than I can around here and wondering if anyone has a place they get cabin and engine air filters for less than $60.
I like to keep clean air coming in and know a filter is key to that, clean filters make it easier for sure.
In the Denver area, it seems like it’s always $60 for both and then some tax.
Anybody find them cheaper anywhere and does anyone use non oem?
I’d be ok buying 6 at a time if shipping is involved.
Thanks,
Jon
And has anyone had any drawbacks to covering the air intake below the windshield with 1/4 in wire mesh? I thought I saw a picture of it somewhere, but leaves in my blower motor suck.
If you’ve got pics of it, I’d love to see how it’s attached so as not to rattle, also wondering how much I have to remove to get to the intake and cover it.

1. Buy a K&N washable filters. You will never have to buy a filter again. There is a similar OEM TRD filter available; it is probably made by K&N for Toyota.

2. Search Amazon using the OEM part number. Lots available there for a discount.

Agreed with the K&N washable filter rather than buying stock paper filters

For cabin filters, can't go wrong with these. I use them in all my vehicles

Im pretty sure my 4runner has wire mesh on the cowl vent from the factory. there's some sort of wire mesh below the cowl. I definitely didn't install it, it's been that way since new. ??? is there another place to install it under the hood as well?

Get your oem parts here

Genuine OEM Toyota Parts | Conicelli Toyota of Conshohock

Engine air filter is $20.39
Cabin air filter 87139-YZZ82 $16.54

You still have to add tax and shipping. If you buy 2 or 3 sets you can save more.

Is Amazon still plagued with counterfeit Toyota parts? I just ordered in bulk from my local dealer. Just know some dealers online prices are cheaper than the walk in price. Ordered 5 online and picked up in person.
