One thing that bothered me with the new 4 Runner was all the halogens still on the exterior. I went to
@
lasfit
and wanted to try out their Solid Amber T3-7443A (non-switch back) and man what a difference.
These were installed on a 2024 Toyota 4 Runner TRD Pro
As far as being seen and safety if you have hazards on, or just while turning these seem to fit the bill perfectly.
Quick little how to incase anyone is considering this quick 20min swap for front and rear.
These little power houses arrived so quick from Lasfit and the packaging was solid to ensure bulbs were not bouncing around.
Only tools needed for the front is a 10mm socket and ratchet.
I removed the bottom front 2 inner fender bolts. First upper bolt, and the under bumper to fender liner bolt to be about to move the liner over to access the bulb socket.
(Pictures 2-5)
Once moved over you can (with smaller arms reach in and twist the socket to expose the bulb. Replace with the new LED and test using hazard to ensure you don't have to flip 180 degrees due to polarity. Once verified that the light does work, reinstall removed bolts after liner is back in a place and you are done. Repeat on the opposite side.
Rear is even more simple, other than not much wire to play with with the longer designed LED bulbs.
All you will need is a trim tool or a flat head screwdriver for the rear.
(Pitcures 6-7)
There is a little indention on the rear access panels in the cargo area to insert tool. Pop this cover open to expose the turn signals and reverse light sockets.
Top is the turn signal.
(Picture 8)
Test to ensure bulb is flashing.
Reinstall socket and now you are done. Repeat on the opposite side.
Day Light compare videos are all I have but I cannot get these to load, but what a difference.
