Alignment question

So I got new tire’s and of course they do the ole free alignment check and say for another 149$ we can fix it.. my question is being ever so slightly out is it worth the money to put it in the green ?

Probably not. What is important on toe is to always have the total toe positive, which yours is. If total toe is negative, then the car will tend to wander from side to side, i.e. not run straight ahead at highway speeds.

Edit: It is hard to understand how they can measure that small of an angle, -.03 degrees in your case. Thus, your actual tow could be as much as +/- .1 degrees from that. I would be willing to bet that if they bounced vehicle, then measured it again, they would get a different number.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, they probably just fudged that it’s out when. It’s actually not, just to get another 149$ for nothing, it’s tracks down the road before and after new tires fine.. I’ll see if my Toyota dealer has free alignment checks and see what they find ..
