The body lines are the same on both the new 5th gen and older 5th gen as far as I can tell, I parked my 2010 next to a new one at Toyota and it's just the lights and bumpers, but the bumpers follow the same lines. Can any one that works at Toyota please confirm that 100% though? Thanks

If the bumpers are different, how would the flares match?

Plasti-Dip them Black - done.

I'm very interested in these, but I fear they're going to cost a fortune. My brother has a 14' Wrangler and couldn't find new fender flares for less than about $550. I wonder if these will be priced up there too. I think I could spring for them for 200-300 or so. $600+ will sting quite a bit.

they probably will cost a bit, i would foresee around 400-500, they will probably offer the version with bolts and the smooth version like they usually do.

It wouldn't matter, they would still need to manufacture different flares for the 10-13 and the 14-15's as it's all just one piece. The front is obviously different on the 14-15's.

Have you actually compared them in person?

The bumper sides where the flares meet the steel fender are not the same shape between all years and models. They weren't even the same between the 2010-2013 TE's and SR5/LE's either. The 2010-13 TE's have separate flare pieces that are held on by fasteners to the front bumper where it meets the fender.

Eh, not really a fan. The flares don't really look like they stick out any farther just bigger and that side molding is horrible looking, imo.

I'm only comparing the trails, I'm sorry for any confusion on that I should have said that from the get go, I dont see enough of a diffetence if any on that piece of the front side fender where it wouldn't fit.
