anyone has experience to replace wheel studs for front wheel?

Searched youtube and didn't get anything for 4runner FRONT wheel. I know basic steps, I just want to know if there is enough space at the back of the hub to knock the stud off and put new back on.

Make sure your replacement studs are 50mm long.

Just learned this the hard way on a rear stud replacement that requires taking the parking brake/drum brake apart to get studs in/out. No joy.

Why it has to be 50mm? I purchased parts from Toyota dealer and the part number is 90942-02082. I measured, it is 45-46mm only top to bottom. Maybe rear wheel studs are different? Also, I think I am lucky, I only need to replace the front.

I also not sure if the hammer taps may hurt the hub itself?

Looks like you have the right part number. And you won't hurt the hub. It only takes a few taps to get the stud out.

Feel you on that one. Dealing with the springs when reinstalling my parking brake was one of the most tedious things I've ever done.

I replaced all 6 studs on one front wheel since only $3 each. Seems be ok to tap them out. I feel not bad to the hub. Also the 45mm length is exactly same as original, so I have the right parts. Thank you everyone.
