Factory Head unit problem

Hi everyone,

2014 LE, JBL sound system. Vehicle is not driven daily but weekly and garaged when not being used. Stereo functioned normally yesterday except for a delayed startup screen, but today when entering the vehicle, the screen was black as usual. At startup the screen turned white. No sound no backup camera. Shut it down and the screen stayed white. Restarted and same thing. Pulled the radio fuse and screen went dark again, only to do the same stuff. Is there a factory reset that may do something?

Press the volume knob for several seconds. That should restart the radio.

I've tried both the soft restart as well as some version of the hard restart and nothing happened. My white screen comes on at vehicle startup and then stays white until I pull the radio fuse.

I am grasping at straws here - have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

I have a working takeout, non-JBL Entune 2.0 from a 2014 that I’ll sell for $150 plus shipping.

Very tempting. Unfortunately for me, I have JBL. I will keep it in mind though.

Oh and to the previous poster, Yes tried disconnecting battery for several hours with no difference.
