Random easy trail near Bishop. Sand Canyon. Fun trail. If earlier it definitely would have had a ton more color. Amazing views.

It is very easy; but a nice ride. I like Victor and the surrounding area.
Enjoy!

Finally got to take a ride in my buddies Magnuson Supercharged TRD Pro. Man does it pull a lot harder. Honestly thinking about getting one for these steep hills in CA, both pavement and off-road. Plus it'd make life easier merging when loaded down.

Medano Pass is a pretty challenging trail south of you in the sangre de cristos.

https://youtu.be/gn2tSZIsKiE

Some sand, creek crossings and rocky sections make for a pretty good time!

First Offroad 18 TRD Offroad Premium!

Quick trail drive on the way to the trailhead.

Starts with some wheelin', then some dog walking and it gets back to some more driving at the end.

Nice video. As an old timer in my 60’s I was digging the Voodoo child by Hendrix and the Doors you were playing. I have to get my new 2018 Pro out too.
I was able to watch at full volume today and realized it was a cover version by SRV. Still great

I slightly prefer the Hendrix version but YouTube doesn't have a licensing agreement and it was muted! I had to swap in the SRV version after I was done. I also kinda wish I had turned up the volume a bit - the Hendrix version was louder and I didn't think to check and see if the SRV was recorded at the same volume...

Anyhow glad you enjoyed

Well, it's not exactly 4Runner stuff anymore, but there's some heavy tunes in here. The Castle Peak and Rollins Pass ones are at least somewhat relevant.

I like the Castle Peak song. Bluesy rock. Who is that? Video reminded me of when I hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney back in my 20’s, except, you can drive to 14k elevations in CO. We don’t have accessible roads close to those elevations in CA. Where is your Rocky Mountain High music video hiding?

Haha, no Rocky Mountain High soundtrack just yet - maybe someday! The artist is Down. It gets quite a bit heavier after the intro wraps up, but on the whole, the entire album has a lot of good bluesy heavy metal. It's a solid album if that's your taste.

From our trip out to Overland Expo East a couple weeks ago:

Got a third video coming soon which was our hardest day of wheeling. I'll post when I finish up the edit!
