That 3rd gen taco blew it's rear end? OEM unit?

Also when did you get the rack. I loved that thing slick.

Not the blue one you see. A white second gen. Has full steel bumpers, skids, and a nice drawer setup. Basically a lot of weight on the stock gearing. Guess it finally had enough and went boom.

Got the rack probably a week or so before I recorded this video. It's definitely one of the cleaner racks out there. LFD Off-Road makes it.

Out with the old tread and in with the new!

I just swapped out the tires on my 4Runner after getting 78,000 miles on the first set! I used a mobile tire service company, you gotta check these guys out. I'll never go to a tire shop again...

Recently installed a Pioneer head unit with android auto / Apple Carplay in my 2014. Here's a quick run down of it

....Found An Old Video!

...Howdy!...

...Last Fall I made a short video...and then lost it in my editing program?...

...Other things got in the way...like LIFE....and I just re-discovered it.......( the video...not Life! )...

...It was a test for a series of videos I considered producing...and I used a very cheap Chinese GoPro-knockoff.....( $39-bucks! )...
....but it did give me the proof-of-concept results I was lookin for...and I eventually went out and bought a DJI-Osmo-Action cam....

...Anyway, my thinking here is that oftentimes...our offroad-adventure locations are quite far from where we live...
...and the trips to get to those offroad locations are equally beautiful and exciting...as in the Road-Trip is half the journey of discovery and enjoyment...

...So..going on this theory...here is the short film I did last year:

...- My-Daily-Commute -

YouTube

...OK...so the 'quality' of the cheapo-cam is poor...but it does get the point across....

...Here is the latest short...using the Osmo-Action cam in 4K:

...- A Drive To Hyalite-Reservoir -

YouTube

...This is both a road-trip combined with a camera-review...hope ya like it!

...Until the next one...Enjoy your 4Runners!...
..Thanks!.....Cheers!...

I made this video recently of getting the truck built up late last year. After doing the work on my last builds I wanted to film instead of install this time around, so I put the orders in and made a road trip of it to build as I went. Pretty standard bolt ons in this phase but I'm about to start round 2 which will start getting a bit more in-depth. Plan on doing the same coverage as the first round.

Yeah I just wrapped up part two of the build and will be editing it over the next couple of weeks. Won't be as drastic of a change as that first round but just as important to what I wanted out of this vehicle.

Did a full walk around video since the latest rounds of mods. Basically finished at this point minus a few tweaks.
