...OK...as a HELLUVA lot went down last year!..

...to be a bit more specific....

...I posted a video of what I did and where I went with my 4Runner...

...As many long-time readers may know...I do not rock-crawl...

...I do not overland...I do not take cross-country road-trips...

...I am a Nature-Photographer living in SW Montana....

...So, I use my 4Runner to take me out and get me back from cool places where I can setup and take photos, video, and time-lapses...

...I have outfitted the inside with a large bolted-down lockable box for my gear, and a sleeping platform...recovery-gear, etc...and drive off on ranch roads and national-forest roads...and any other dirt roads that take me to scenic places...

...I have a brother who lives in Mesa, AZ..who is also a Nature-Photographer...and we share videos back-n-forth of our adventures...

...SOooo..altho there will be no actual footage of my beloved 4Runner in the following video....it helped me produce this piece...and I could NOT have been able to do it without my 4Runner!...

...Below, here is the year 2020 in review..or at least...the Best parts!...

Meanwhile, Back On The Ranch... - YouTube

...Hope Y'all Enjoy it!.......Muchos-Thanks!......Cheers!... ...
Beautiful! I love western Montana. You mentioned you have a brother in Arizona and I thought of this clip. A River Runs Through It (5/8) Movie CLIP - I'll Never Leave Montana (1992) HD - YouTube

...Muchos-Thanks for the kind words!....

...I gotta agree...there is so much in western Montana that you could easily spend a lifetime trying to take it all in...sadly, I wasn't born here....

...I think I woulda turned out a helluva lot better?!.....

...But it's never too late to try and make up for lost time....Cheers!......

Snow Day: Julian Road Trip 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32oS56txFp8&feature=youtu.be

This video features highlights from my January 2021 road trip to Julian, CA during a winter storm. Along the way are scenes from Sunrise Highway, Mt. Laguna, and the Lake Cuyamaca area. It's a little different from my usual videos. I wasn't able to fly my drone, so there are no aerial shots. But there's plenty of beautiful, snowy scenery and interesting sights. I think it's the next best thing to being there, and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Put in the Aiden James Customs rear platform this past weekend. Extremely happy with the quality and thickness of the platform. Also happy I gained probably 5" or so back with the rear deck out. Allowed me to mount the fridge slide which opens much further than the deck would allow and I can open the lids to the fridge completely where in the past I couldn't due to the roof blocking it.

Rubbed a hole through my AC pipe for the 4Runner so thought I'd make a quick video on how to fix it if this happens to you.

Recent trip to East Tennessee, explored Horse Creek trail in Cherokee National Forest. Tip: Go after it's been raining a few days.

Nothing fancy, but this runner does have less than 800 miles on it and my dad is bringing it into the woods to cut fire wood.

Videos of my trip to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park with 4Runner

Check it out... the 4Runner did great. It was happy on the dirt trails. My better half did most of the video capture.

https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...lended+travels

If you have not been to Capitol Reef, put it on your bucket list! Perfect for 4Runner.

Recovering the rollover... and they used the frame tie-downs a good amount winching them up. /s

Toyota Rollover & Recovery - YouTube

Found the full rollover from one of the angles:
4runner rollover - YouTube

Doesn't look like there is much downward suspension travel available in how they have that rig setup.

The final installment of our Moab series. This was from our recent trip to Moab, UT. Part 4 is Hell's Revenge trail. We also did the Hell's gate obstacle while there and meet some cool new Broncos while there.
