5th gen 4Runner: What did Toyota delete from the 4th gen?

Okay, title says it all... Lets list the things that we had on the 4th gen that are no longer available on the 5th gen (at least for now, the mid-cycle refreshing might actually address some of these items) as of the 2010 model year.

I'll start with a few of the obvious ones:

1- radio antenna built into the glass
2- gas door that releases from inside the vehicle

Those two items were on all 4th gen 4Runners.

3- LED taillights
4- Projector headlights

And of course those weren't available until the mid-cycle refresh of the 4th gen, so maybe we'll see those again in, say, 2013.

Anything else?

I know there wer a lot of upgrades on the 4th gens but Toyota lost a couple of things and cheapened some of the materials with the 4th compared to the 3rd gens and since Toyota really hasn't changed the prices of 4Runners in over 10 years (My truck stickered at just over $35k) and some things come and some things go but the end result usually is a better vehicle.

Running boards
Double-decker storage thingy -- this is actually a benefit as it was completely useless.

I don't have them because I have the JBL sound system...but weren't those little backup mirrors eliminated in the 5th gen?

Sliding sun visors have been replaced with cheap plastic pull out extensions.

What? So you're saying that only the Limited models now have a fullsize matching spare? Did Toyota put a generic steel wheel on the rest of the 5th gen models?

Okay, I know that the wheels are a different style on the 5th gen and that is comletely expected, especially considering how long the wheels remained the same on the 4th gen. Think about that...the Sport Editions had the same wheels during the entire run. But it's not fair to say that Toyota "deleted" 17" wheels, they just changed the styling of the wheels.

As for mudguards, I thought they were still on the 5th gen? I've seen pictures that look like they have the mudguards on them...

You interpreted correctly. And the mudguards are on the TE only, deleted from SR5 and LTD.

Didnt they change the oil filter location on the V6 and put it under the engine? Pure fail, that was the most brilliantly designed engine implement Ive ever seen.

Edit: X-Reas? I wouldnt give up my mini mirrors to save humanity I love those things.
