It's Medicine Lake about 45 miles northeast of McCloud at about 7k elevation. It's a beautiful area with 4 campgrounds 3 of which are right on the lake and the 4th on the west end slightly off the water. This was my first trip up there. I'll definitely be back.

Black Canyon Trail
Here are a few pics from last weekend where we took the Black Canyon OHV Trail out of Homewood, CA on Lake Tahoe. We ended on the last 5 miles of Rubicon.

My favorite, us getting passed by the big boys because we were going to slow. LOL

Got one on my 5th gen and absolutely love it. Just recommend you getting it line-x'd first...powdercoat is not good quality. Plus, I would get a Curt hitch extension if you plan on using a hitch mount bike rack.

Yeah man that's right up my alley, especially considering I'm not really interested in full bumper replacement.
I saw on another thread that the tongue attachment point can be cut and shortened so it doesn't protrude as much also.
Thanks for the Line-X recommendation too!

No worries bro. 🤙 I saw that as well...didn't mind the gap. I will find ways to add more stuff that'll fill in the space. Plus the distance is handy when you're trying to access the cargo area without swinging the arm out. Plus another guy on this threas is a Rigd tire hitch advocate. Both seem similar to me minus the hitch on the swing arm for bike mounts. Although Wilco works fine for what I need it for. Good luck bro...

Haha thanks. Everyone around here likes it. Have gotten a few looks from Jeep guys, but most laugh too.
