it was epic for us. THe main roads were closed due to snow and mud, all the access roads were washed out and were basically dried river beds covered in silt, rocks, boulders, trees, and mud with 2 foot crevices running parallel with the road, where the road use to be. No vehicle tracks before us.
temperature wasnt bad 70/40.
I'm glad i went up there before the snow caps melted.....
yeah man defiinbitely get up there and get some jerky at mohagany meats in biship.
alabama hills is well alabama hills, pretty cool too but there is alot of people there.
Pics: washout road w/ 1 to 2 feet ruts that got so bad about a half mile up when the ruts became massive, we had to turn around because we didnt want to make our own trail.
Other pic is what use to be a road, is now covered in silt and mud. Looks can be deceiving, there is about a foot of soft wet mud under the silt that ran for miles due to reent rain and melting snowcap. Glad I was running MT's.
