Black 5th gen lifted, with lots-o-dip, Satoshi grill, gobi rack+ and lights today, out on 200 E between 3rd & 4th. Nice ride

it wasn't a 5th gen 4runner, but on my drive home tonight I spotted an inferno TRD pro tacoma. I was driving my TRD pro 4runner. He honked and we both waved. Kinda cool!

Spotted in SoCal 11/7 @ 7:10pm, 405S at Manchester:
Mag grey, lifted, black wheels, MTs, plate front and rear bumpers (not sure what kind), full rack, snorkel, and prob a whole lotta other mods!
Awesome rig!! I was in the Mag grey '14 LE with ummm, no visible mods except Thule crossbars.

That was me...funny, most stock-looking 4Runners around here don't react to other 4Runners but saw that you did!  I was busy working and driving, lol...standard 405 traffic.
I think there are only two of us in this area that have snorkels...so a dead give away.

Really thought I saw a black or mag grey w/ full length rack and ladder this evening around 7:00 or so.
Never seen a rig like that in my neck of the woods; could have been just wishful thinking.

Headed south on 191 into Moab, early this afternoon. Lifted, red, 14-15 with what looked like a Gobi rack, and definitely a gobi ladder.

You were coming of the exit from I-5 northbound onto Smokey Point Blvd in a Black 5th gen. roof rack, rear ladder, and I am pretty sure you had a white T4R sticker on your side rear window....

I got to watch two guys "spot" my 4Runner in the parking lot of Red White and Brew in NE Mesa Az as I had a late lunch with the family. Watched them take pics, walk all the way around and then cross a bit of a line laying on the ground to check out my sliders and skid plates. Luckily they drove away in a lifted 2014 4Runner so I'm sure it was just appreciation.
Am I being anal thinking that crawling under a strangers truck in a parking lot is violating car guy etiquette???

I was trying to find someplace to have breakfast in College Station yesterday. As I pulled through the parking lot of the first FULL restaurant I spotted a 5th Gen Limited with no mods parked in a motel parking lot behind it. I parked right next to it and jumped out and measured the fender heights from the ground because I had forgotten what they were from the factory. Then I got back in mine and reset the Garmin to find another place to eat breakfast. No harm no foul.
