Driver seat creaking
Has anyone expereinced this yet? I know this was a problem on older 4runners, it seems as if the seat is very loose, it creaks when i sit and rocks a bit back and forth. Everytime I hit a bump it creaks loudly. When I move the power seat front and back - it does it very very rough on the track like if it was going over something. I tried to go underneath the seat to see if anything was loose, and perhaps I can tighten it myself but I didnt see anything. Is there a quick solution to this ? thanks (by the way im under 200 pounds) so i dont think its a weight issue.

See if there's something in the track - like a coin or other object. Could be that. I had mine in thick snow, bounced up and down on the seat, and it's extremely solid, so I'm not sure why this could be happening to yours.

You have got to be kidding me... Maybe some lube will help. It seems that on the 4th gens it can help a good bit but never fully fix it.

My 2006 did that after about a year of having it. I even took it in to the dealer and they said there was nothing they could really do about it. It eventually quit so maybe there's a little hope for you. So far my 5th gen hasn't started doing it yet. Good luck with it.
