Seat height on 5th gen.

Are the front seats any higher from the floor of the truck on the 5th gen vs. the 4th gen? It is the biggest complaint I have with my 03 SE.

Not sure I have an answer for you, but I heard previous generations have the seats on the floor. These seats are raised off the floor. And, if you get power seats, you can actually raise them upward making you feel extremely taller than other vehicles.

I'm 6'1", so I didn't raise the seat much on the 5th during a test drive. It does appear the seats can be adjusted higher than the 4th's. I kept the seat low because I like the extra headroom.

Seat height were one major reason we didn't buy the 4th gen.

If you get a model with the power seat then this becomes a non-issue (until the point where you hit the roof ). Power seat for upwards adjustment is not available for the passenger seat
