Got my 4Runner a bit dirty today :D

Well, she didnt get THAT dirty but when i got home the lower half of my car was covered in mud and the rear was covered in dust

Finally got to go out today after picking up my trail earlier in the week. The weathernetwork said that it was supposed to rain today but there wasnt a drop falling from the sky while i was out. Wandered on up to Jones Lake (Between Hope and Chilliwack BC) and hung out for a while. The lake was truly frozen over, enough that you could walk on it. After Jones Lake, headed over to Chilliwack Lake and took the road all the way along the lake to the end. It was quite the view and an awesome experience.

Spent the rest of the day on Vedder River watchin folks fly fishing.

Some pics:

I am a little disappointed, I was expecting to see the 4Runner caked with mud. That is the way, a proper 4Runner should look.

Still a great looking car and really nice pictures.

there is a ton of fishing to do up here. you can get a pair of waders and fly fish the lower streams and creeks for steel heads and trout most of the year. there are so many lakes here that some don't even have a name! especially the ones in the back country that require 4x4 access.

theres carp fishing and bass fishing as well in some of the smaller lakes a few hours drive from my home. honestly, one of the best ways to spend a lazy sunday afternoon with a six pack to keep ya company

once ya get tired of pulling monster rainbows, cutties and dolly's out of the lakes and rivers its time to head out to the fraser area around lillooet where you can pull out monster 700lb sturgeons.

if that aint your thing, heading a few hours out on boat will get you to areas that you can land multple halibats weighing around 200lbs a piece. ling cod that are over a meter long put up a helluva fight around here and they can be caught just off the rocks if ya know where to fish.

of course if you like seasonal fishing there is the steel head and salmon runs that occur at different times of the year.

Yeah, I saw Coho Salmon spawning and a lot of folks were out fishing for Steelhead that were making their way back to the ocean.

Altogether, not a bad way to put 700 miles on the truck.

It appears that there is some sort of dark trim inside your headlight housings. Is that unique to the trail edition? My limited has completely clear housings.
