SeattleMike's Trail Edition in Shoreline Blue Pearl!
After spending the last 3 days looking online, and being told "No" by the salesman when I asked if they could order it, and getting a generic "we don't have that information" from Toyota USA... I'm beginning to think I am on a quest for the Holy Grail.
Does anyone have, or has anyone seen, a 2010 T4R Trail Edition with the KDSS/Nav option in the Shoreline Blue Pearl paint?

If you want to see what one looks like, Big Island Toyota has a Shoreline Blue TE in its online inventory with photos:
Toyota 4Runner Trail 4WD 4dr V6 Trail 2010 - Hilo, HI 96720
In Hawaii, all TEs have the KDSS and Nav options (they bring them in with that config only).
I've bought all my Toyotas from there, even though I'm on Oahu. I don't know about shipping to the mainland, though.

Thanks folks! I'll look into the Hawaii option. Mainly I just wanted to be able to show my own dealer that they aren't imaginary.

Mike,
I called Toyota of Colorado Springs earlier asking about it. Saleman named Randall said that one was sold and he would find one and call me back. I said don't call me back unless it was Shoreline Blue Pearl. He just called back and said 2 in Shoreline Blue were available at other dealerships. He said give him a deposit and it would be there the next day.
The number is on their website and his name was Randall.
Good Luck as they are pretty rare.

Thanks harper, I'll give them a ring tomorrow. I have to drive down to Portland just to test drive one, but the good news is that the guys in Hawaii offered to eat the $1000 shipping costs. Now it's just a matter of putting all the money into one account and pondering the wisdom of buying a car I've never actually seen. The down side to their popularity is that the prices are pretty sticky.
On a personal note, thanks for all the great posts. I've been taking notes and using your research to plan my own mods.

SeattleMike - fwiw, I ordered a TE in Shoreline Blue with NAV/KDSS back in December. The dealer doesn't prefer to get the car that way but didn't have much choice after looking for weeks to find one via regional allocation. Looks like you have a decent chance of getting one out in your neck of the woods with the suggestions provided. I probably won't receive mine till April. If all else fails at least you know that you can, indeed, order one. You just need to go to the dealer that's willing to work for you.
LyteFly - thanks for posting the pics. Those are the first ones I've seen of that model/color combo. Where were they taken?

Mdrei, those were from the Big Island Toyota website. Last I checked they had two and offered delivery to my home for $995.

I wanted to update this with the latest news:
I finally found a local dealership that was willing to place a preference request for a 2010 TE 4Runner with the Navigation/KDSS/Convenience package in Shoreline Blue Pearl. I agreed to $38,500 plus taxes and doc fees (~$42k total) and placed a $500 deposit.
I want to thank everyone who responded both in the thread and via PM; you really helped me push forward when my original dealer said "not possible" and tried to shove me into everything but what I wanted.
I also want to give shout outs to Kurt @ Big Island Toyota for his no-BS approach and quick pricing response and to Vicki with Larry Miller Toyota of Colorado Springs who did more to help me find a solution than anyone else working for a dealership. If you live in either of those areas and you want direct contact information for either Kurt or Vicki, send me a PM. If it wasn;t for Washington's pesky tax laws, I would have gladly done a deal with either of them.
And now I wait, possibly for 3 months, for a ship to bring my baby home. In the meantime, I am taking notes on all the mods and refinements people are doing... and drooling over pictures of other people's 4Runners.

Nice work...congrats! Let's both hope the wait for our special orders doesn't go beyond 90 days. After the great comments on the floor mat thread I ordered a set of Husky liners today. Next will be tires.
