Did someone say heated Leather seats in a Trail Edition???

Dropped our 900mile baby off at the Wilde Toyota dealer less than 48 hours ago for a little face lift. Picked it back up this afternoon. Wow, does this thing look and feel and smell so nice now(not that it didn't before)!

Heated Seats, Leather(sweet combo!) and Remote Start!

Black regular grain outers, with Black/gray under perforated inserts. Something I feel all trail edition owners should consider.

After market heated seats are great for now they will work during the remote start. Our Tribeca wouldn't turn on until my hand pushed the button...

Enjoy! Drool if you'd like.

Clay at dealership suggested perforated leater inserts. The perforated leather is stained black on the outer and stained grey on the underside. When you look at it from an angle, you see heavy grey. from the top side, you see mostly black. It is a great way to add a true "subtle" two-tone look.

Here is some pics of the same sample piece taken from different angles:

i sprung for a similar aftermarket leather but not perforated, looks like the same kit judging by the cut and the front seat back pockets. I was quoted 1000 for just the leather, but got it added as part of the deal, i bet dealer cost is 250 + labor (ish)
anyway, looks sweet, I wish I had tried to get perforated on mine. Enjoy it all

Do you know what brand the heated seats are? I would like to put some in mine and this is the second time i have seen that switch used by a dealer so I am assuming it is the same kit.

I would have done the Trail, if they offered factory leather with it. They did a good job on yours! Did you happen to ask if they could just order the factory leather seats and replace yours? I have a feeling the Toyota price would have been a LOT higher than the aftermarket route though. Did they give you the option of having the 2nd row heated?

Agreed. I would have done the trail as well if they had offered factory leather and removed those black plastic bumpers and wheel well flairs. Hopefully they will do that in the next iteration.

Very nice!
I have the same kit in Grey but not preforated. I had them put the heater buttons in the pop outs right below where yours are. They were going to put on the side of the seat, glad I asked where they were going to put them!
I think I paid way too much though worth it!

If they made a white trail, I'd have gladly swapped parts w/ you. I love the trail look, but wanted leather and white.

No doubt! I had to ask as well about the heated switch placement... They said side of seats... I was like No Thank you, please put them in the same place that the limited switches are. Seemed most logical right? We got the truck back to find that the switches were placed above the desired location.

They said, it is better this way becauce an aux light switch would fit perfect in the black pop out slots. Don't think I'll ever do aux lights, but the option is at least there. Not to mention, the current placement of the switches is much easier on the wrist.

Leather, heated seats and remote start came to us for $1700... Couldn't tell you if that is high or low. To have the comfort and style far beats any "stock package" in my mind.

couldn't tell you the brand of heaters... Seems like a stock aftermarket piece, because that is the only switch style I have ever seen.
