5th gen front brake calipers

Did Toyota switch to floating calipers on the front? Just wondering, since so many 4th gen owners are have to deal with the frozen pistons in their front calipers.

If Toyota didn't go with the floating calipers, I wonder how long it will be before 5th gen owners start getting frozen pistons...

Judging by the pic in this post, they appear to be the same 4-piston fix caliper design from the 4th. I suspect it is, since the same since a lot of mechanicals were a carry-over other than body sheet metal.

IIRC, I think all body on frame Toyota SUVs (and trucks) have fixed 4-piston front calipers. Better braking performance, but more susceptible to the infamous frozen piston.
