iPhone - issues with Bluetooth Audio

I love the fact that the Bluetooth pulls audio from my iPhone, but it is giving me some weird issues.

If I turn the car on, it automatically picks up my tunes from my iPhone, but when I turn off the radio and on again, or change to a different aux, or channel on the radio then back to the Bluetooth Aux it flashes "pause".

I don't hit pause, my phone isn't paused (music still playing but no sound). If I hit the play/pause button it starts to "stream" for like 10 sec (with no noise), then automatically goes back to a flashing "pause".

The only way to solve this is to turn the ignition off then on again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

On your phone, try cycling between speaker and car audio, usually works for me

like Pat said, try searching the forum since it's already been discussed so much. there might even be several solutions that were reached. good luck!

i deleted the iphone from my setup for BT audio. there were just too many issues. one that really bothered me was when i was listening to USB music, and got a text, my phone wouldn't make a sound. cool feature, but too buggy IMO

I know, I know. I should have searched first. I did end up finding the solution.

I think I may cancel the Bluetooth audio function and run a wire from my USB to the cabin. Seems like the best way to manage this.
