Smart Key Functions

I've seen pieces of info for some of the Smart Key functions but not in the same place. Is there a clean, understandable list of what can be done with the Smart Key?

Thanks Harper, I saw that you posted this is another thread. I guess I was looking for a text version for reference.

Also, thanks for the welcome. I really appreciate all the mods you made. I just sold my Rubicon Unlimited I modded the hell out of.

Can't wait to get my new "project". Getting a black Unlimited 4x4 with the bells and whistles. I have a leveling kit and Cooper Zeon's waiting at a local 4x4 shop for it's arrival. I have the rubber 7" antenna and the Sirius mod ready too. Can't wait. You guys here really helped.

BTW, when doing the spacer type lift with the hydraulic suspension, are there any problems. I noticed you had none, yet RediLift has "non X-Reas" on their leveling lift. It should behave the same as other spacer lifts.

Do alot of research on X-REAS .It's actually a good ,tried and true suspension system, had it on my last 4runner too. It is a closed system and connects the right front shock to left rear and left front to right rear. You do not disconnect them at the shock as they cannot be reserviced and will be trash. You have to raise all 4 wheels off the ground to equal pressures and disconnect at the unions that have check valves. Every 4x4 shop I went to around here was scared or did'nt know what the heck I was talking about and declined to do it.

I was'nt sure where or actually which side of the unions to disconnect. So I took the high road and did it myself in the wheel wells with spring compressors and a ball joint separator without disconnecting the shocks at all. A real PITA and would'nt do it that way again.

Good Luck
