Another ToyTec Ultimate on a TE W/KDSS

Here are a few pics of the ToyTec Ultimate 3" package that I installed on my TE this past Saturday. The process took about 6 hours and having more than one floor jack is almost required. I also installed an AirLift kit to keep things level when towing. The airlift kit # 60733 provides 2" extra height over the #60809 specified for stock springs.

New Coilovers needed height reduction to retain original vehicle fore-aft pitch.

Waiting on a sale on some appropriate tires.

I've very pleased with the ride and handling so far, somewhat harsher on the highway but less that expected. The road manners are head and shoulders above the FJ. I hope to get out in the Texas hill country next week and give it all a thorough workout.

Hello and Congrats on the new TE!!!

The lift looks great!!

I'm interested in how much lift the new rear springs gave you in the back. Stock height from ground to fender lip in the rear was 37 inches. How high is the lip now.

The reason I'm asking is I have garage height restraints when I put a Gobi Stealth rack with lights on and wondering if I should go with Toytecs springs you have, Ome 895e springs which give 1.5 inch lift or try some FJ springs .

The fender lip is now 39" exactly. That's on the stock 265/70's. The highest two points on the rear air-dam is 72.5".

Does lifting throw the warranty out the window?

Thanks for the measurements, sounds perfect. I'm going with the ICON front CO's .Are you going to change the Upper control arms too or did the alignment come out alright?

Only the suspension won't have a warranty. The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act supposedly stops them from voiding the whole warranty.
