2010 4Runner Parts Manual download

Now that I figured out how to store and share documents in Google Docs I created a separate account just for this.Kudos to RyanE for tipping me off on Google Docs which is an online service for storing documents.

Here is the parts manual to download or view.I've had it for awhile but it was too big to post on here.At least 99% of the parts are on there and the msrp price. You can get the parts alot cheaper online of course.

Most useful thing I have seen posted in the forum yet. And I do not even own my 4Runner until July.

Thanks for posting and thank you Google!

Okay, this is for the SR5 but they have some Trail Edition parts listed.

But I'm looking at page 28 and I can't figure out which of the Fender Flare pieces I need to replace my damaged one on the left. What is the difference between w/ or w/o Appearance Package?

Also, how do I make sure these are the rough TE ones and not the smooth SR5 ones?

Does anyone have the Trail edition parts list?

I'm guessing that it's labeled as the SR5 manual because technically all 4Runners used to be called SR5's.There is the Limited and Trail Edition of the SR5 4Runner and the just plain SR5 in 4 or 6 cyl. for 2010. SR5 used to stand for S(Sport)R(Rally or some say the old RN motor)5(5 speed) and was used in a bunch of other models too.SR5 has been around for over 30 years so I'm thinking the Japanese like the way it sounded and it stuck!

Back to the left fender flare ......
Pretty sure the w/o appearance is the trail and the 4 cyl.
That's why it's not listed as just trail and some parts are specific to just the trail and labeled as such.
The one your looking for is on page 28
w/o Appearance Pkg
L #.8 53848-35140 $142.73

I have my parts list I put on at work to verify and I'm off today.
Call Toyota Parts to verify, or pm me tomorrow night.
You can check on any part you ever need really by calling any Toyota parts dept. They make big money on selling parts.

This flare is a real pain to change as the clips(they are orange and blue) were meant to go on one time and fit really tight into holes in the fender.

Some of the best online prices here .... ToyotaPartSales.com

Thanks Harper.

Also, it looks like I need to order 3 Type 1 clips and 6 Type 2 clips (the blue and orange ones you are referring to) to use when I replace the TE fender flare?

Do I also need to order a replacement nonreusable Moulding Pad?

Why does the parts manual say "Adhesive"? Do i have to glue this thing on?

The first ones I took off I went on the inside of the fender under the liner with small needle nose pliers and pinched the clips to save them as I didn't order new ones . It was such a pain that some of the other flares I got later ,I just took the flare and forcefully ripped it off and bought some new clips. About half of them broke on the ripping off method.lol
What happened to yours?
Don't remember about the "pad" or adhesive.

I have no idea what happened to mine. I was just down in the Mojave and Vegas for a week. Started washing it today at home and noticed a stain on the front left fender flare. Looked a little closer and it looks like a big burn. It both feels different and is lighter than the rest of the fender flare. It's a rectangular area. It looks like it's where the hose could have rubbed when I was on the ladder washing the roof but I don't think a simple hose would burn the fender flare.

In the repair manual I found this as a step before putting the clips onto the flare:

INSTALL FRONT FENDER OUTSIDE MOULDING PAD LH

(a) Clean the front fender outside moulding surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front fender outside moulding surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front fender outside moulding surface.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install a new front fender outside moulding pad.

(1) Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front fender outside moulding pad.

HINT:

After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(2) Install the front fender outside moulding pad.
