What kind of MPG are you getting with those Falken 275s? Im on stock tires now and having a difficult time deciding between Falken 265s or 275s. After having them on your truck for a bit do you think there is anything you could comment on?

Rig looks great! Thanks

Thanks man!

I honestly have no idea what MPG I was getting before or after tire/lift install, I really don't pay too much attention to it, especially now as I am working from home and the majority of my driving is through the mountains and off road.

I will say I was nervous about getting the 275's due to their weight, but I have not noticed a different in acceleration, traversing the mountain passes here in CO, or anything like that due to the weight. I am super happy with my 275 decision, the LTC rating gives me peace of mind when hitting the rocky trails here in CO for sure. I have also had no balancing issues to speak of at this point, ~600 miles in.

How's the ride with this setup? I'm thinking about going this route

Now that the suspension has settled, the ride has been great. The thing soaks up everything and it has been rock solid.

Added 285\70\17 tires today. Gained about ¾ of an inch on the rear, and ⅝ inch on the front on the 2F\1R lift. Funny because now it looks stock in pictures, but can easily tell it isn't in person

I'm actually thinking about the King 2.5 kit, how's the ride quality? Plush or rattle your teeth?

Thanks

The Kings ride great, firm yet forgiving when hitting bumps at speed. The truck does not bounce or wallow. Also, the nose dive is virtually eliminated with the 600 lb front springs. I will say I did notice a little more roughness when I added my E load STT Pros, but nothing crazy. You’re going to love the Kings!

Those tires look awesome. How's the ride? I feel the same way about my truck in pics. Looks just ok at times, but definitely not stock in person.

Thanks ! Compared to the Nitto Terra Grappler SL load in 265/70/17 I had on before it is now a much rougher/stiffer ride. Can feel the more aggressive treads in the steering wheel, and it's also quite a bit louder, but expected being that these are E load and much more aggressive. I do feel more sluggish because of the weight, but can still get up and go when needed thanks to the SC. Also because the tires are much stiffer, it's kind of cool to feel more of the suspension working rather than a mix of the suspension and tire flexing. I like knowing I have much stronger tires now, overall pretty happy with it. Need to go test them out off-road soon
