Feedback Please

Can you give me your thoughts on the following?

1. I will have some money in early July. Should I get a 2010 SR5 or wait for the 2011s to come out?

2. If I get the 2010 model, can I take it on a road trip from Kansas City to Phoenix right away, or is there a break in period?

Thanks!
Scot

1. I would wait until the 2011 come out. Granted not much is going to change (if anything), but then you might have more bargaining power on the 2010 since the dealers will want to bring in the new inventory and clear the old.

2. 'break in period' is a relative term. I normally take it to mean 1) no towing for the first 500miles and 2) easy start and stops.

If you are not in a rush I would wait for the 11's. I personally bought mine because I needed to replace my old SUV, older, mechanical problems, etc. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with mine, but they 'might' fix some minor bugs. They might change the glass on the stereo display so it is not affected by polarized sunglasses, might fix the lumbar popping, should see the SOS in the 11's as well. I doubt they will take anything away with the 11's so if you can wait I would.
