Touch up paint

does anyone know where I can buy some touch up paint online for my 2010 Magnetic Grey 4Runner? I just noticed a small scratch, not deep at all, on my driver side door, most likely from a parking lot. Guess I'll be parking at the very back now at all parking lots. Thanks in advance for the help.

if its just a surface scratch maybe you can wax it out?

i bought mine from the dealer after i got a chip on the door edge. pretty cheap and all i had to do was provide the color code on the door.

thanks for the quick response, i really appreciate it. i just tried to wax it out and that appears to have worked pretty well, at least long enough for me to get to a dealer. thanks again.

What brand is sold at the dealer? Is it Duplicolor? You can buy it in Walmart or pre-order at Pepboys. Magnetic gray is hard to find.

If the scratch is not noticeable in 3-5 ft distance, I'll just leave it...really. Like JCA21 said just wax it and buff for now. If the scratches are worse, then have the pros do it. I have tried touch-up paint plus clear coat, the white and silver is a closer match to the color of my vehicle, but the galactic gray in the 4Runner is very different. Oh..yours is a $40K vehicle I am afraid a 6 bucks paint will make it look worse..one of my car have pimples..LOL! because of the chips applied with touch up paint and clear coat, my vacant time is only at night so I didn't know how it look during the day.

A polishing compound will work very well on clear coat scratches. I used some Meguiars Mirror Glaze this weekend with much greater results than Scratch X etc. I believe it's meant for a buffer or polisher but when used by hand is much safer.

Once it's through the clear though, it's a lost cause for polishing.
