Truth be told, most people love them in a 285 I am not sure but I suspect the 295 E rated tire may be a different rubber compound and it just doesn't work on a 4R I had KO2s before the RG and they were great for me. Swapped to the RG and I was all over the road in the rain. 6000 miles and I sold them and swapped to the Wildpeak AT3W which is a great tire. I miss having a 295 though and I will be switching out to the Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 in the next couple - few weeks.

Did you order the wheel decals with the wheels? I have the SR8s but really thinking about switching up the look with some F5s.

Yeah just tell Vin to toss them in with your order or just have a deacl shop make it. Vin charges $30 for 5 of them

I second this being weird. I've had KO2's and RGs. RGs in 285 and 295. Loved them in both sizes. Didn't notice any difference in the the larger 295 except everything being better.

Everyone has different driving styles and maybe the roads are more slick in your area? Maybe asphalt vs concrete?

All asphalt here in MD no concrete so who knows. I loved the look, ride, just couldn't take them in the rain anymore. I will be going back to a 295, I miss the 295, but going with a Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 this time. This will be my 5th set of tires in 15K miles including the OEM tires which came off at 325 miles lol I can never make up my mind.

Yea who knows. I'm not a big fan of Mickey's. To each their own. Good thing there are so many options out there.

I know what you mean. Been through the sizes as well. stock, 285 load E, 285 load C, 295, 35x12.50, back to stock, now on 285 load C, probably going with 295 or maybe a 305 next.

You running gears? I swapped in 4.56 a week after moving to 295 and it was one of the best things I have done.

Stock gears since I haven't made a tire decision yet lol. I do plan on going 4.56 as well though. Kinda required with 90 pounds of tire and wheel in each corner.

4.56 is a great choice. I even liked them with the 35's. yea 90#'s per corner is a lot. I wanted to go bead locks but damn I'd be over 100# per corner. Too much weight for no reason.
