I think the setup you have is the SR5 I test drove. Thing had a huge moonroof from what I remember. I'm now looking at the SR5 with the Convenience Package and Premium Package, w/o 3rd row. Its not clear to me (without going to a dealer) whether that Premium Package version includes the upgraded radio w/ xm, usb, bluetooth, steering wheel controls (ie. DJ package w/o JBL) ... The website tool doesn't state anything about the DJ package being included when you get the Premium Package.
This seems to be a reasonable balance of options for the price without jumping to a Limited, which is only available with nav.

Yeah I checked it out once i got home and I dont have the premium package but I do have xm, usb, and bluetooth along with the steering wheel controls and the moonroof also. Are yout sure the Limited is only available with nav? There was one in blizzard pearl without nav at the dealer I got mine from

Right now, thats the only way they are selling the Limited and Trail in my area (ie. fully loaded). For as cool as the integrated nav is, its not worth the extra cost to me.
Also for the Limited, I don't want to have 20" tires to replace when it comes time (with only 3-4 tires to pick from when staying at the same sizing), and I don't want to be reducing sidewall height for such a heavy vehicle. I have a non-standard size on my car right now, but its a car.. I don't want to pay for the upgraded extras either on the Limited, aside from the x-reas shocks.
You'll have to provide your input on how you feel the body roll and the squat/dive feel like on the SR5 when you get your first 1000-2000 miles. Some folks make it sound like a deal breaker and others make it seem like its not a big deal at all. Believe me, I've scoured these forums for all the critical information regarding this vehicle!

I will let you know about the suspension . I wanted the Xreas also as I had it on my sport. Also I only got the 4x2 so I am not sure if that would make a diferrence as far as dip and lean cause of the wieght . the one thing I have noticed is that the brakes are alot stronger on this model as compared to my sport.

okay so after driving my runner for 2 days straight I have found minor things that bug me.
1.) The whole having to hold the key for it to start gets me cause i know my 07 sport all I had to do is flick it and it would continue to turn till it started. Not the for my new runner I have to actually hold it in the start position until it starts. is mine the only one like this or is this how all the 5th gen runners are minus the limited cause of the smart key. And why wouldnt they just have a smart key for all the trim levels. I mean even nissan has a smart key for a base altima thats starts at $18000.
2.) The horn ( but i see i am not alone in that department)
3.) non led tail lights.
4.) no xreas except in the limeted. But other than just being bigger than my previous runner I havent really seen a diference in handling or lean while turning or dip while braking. ( btw it took a bit to get used to how much stronger the brakes arein this thing)
Like I said just minor things other than that its great and I am still lovin it.

seriously, it took months for me to get used to holding the key in! also, the 5G's intermittent wiper switch is the reverse of the 4G; i still fumble with that occasionally.

It's also opposite of my Jetta which I drive on my daily commute. Hate that they are opposite.

on a side note I just wanna say FML cause a hail storm came out of nowhere yesterday and while my runner was in the garage my daily driver wasn't and now the last five years of keeping it looking new is ruined by a ten min hail storm ... Sorry to go off subject but I needed to vent.
I haven't had to use wipers yet so when I finally do it will prolly be confusing oh yeah and the whole non locking gas door was a dumb decision on toyotas part also

I've seen number of people complaining here about non led tail lights. I could't care less if lights are led or not I don't even see them : ) Actually it seems even easier to me to replace a bulb once a two-three years than deal with leds. I'm wondering if I don't undestand something, is there real benefit of having leds or it just looks better?

I woul say that on top of looking better they last longer and they actually light up faster than a regular incandesent bulb. just little things that it seems toyota went backwards with
