Four Wheeler Project 4Runner Backcountry

I put this on 120 and figured I'd put it on here too in case anyone is interested.

Just finished looking through the new Four Wheeler and I saw that they're using the 2010 TE that won their Four Wheeler of the Year to build up an overlander.

Plans include:
long travel suspension
front locker
33x12.50 MTs
rooftop rack/tent
front bumper/winch/lights
rear bumper w/ tire carrier
sliders
solar power for charging cameras/laptops
interior platform for the rear to accomodate onboard air, fridge, tools, etc (possibly a shower)

Hopefully they'll do some new custom stuff that will transfer into new products/tech for the 120 platform or at least some cool stuff for you 5th gen guys. Didn't see anything about it anywhere else on here so I figured I'd post it up in case anyone was interested.

Here's the TE they're using:

Very cool! I love it anytime the press speaks 'positively' of body-on-frame construction Nothing is better for wheelin' and towing. The posers sort-of get away with it for 60k (miles) or so then the truth comes out IMHO...

I love those Geri cans. I'm adding them into my own build-out.

Excuse my ignorance but what else do those things do, they are huge, but pretty cool. Not only do they hold gas, but it looks like you could use them as sand rails (if they are as strong as I hope they are), you could use them as a stretcher, hell you could built your kid a fort with some of those...

So, is this one the first one we have seen with ARB locker on the front?
