35inch tires
Hey guys, I'm putting in a stage 6 icon 3 inch suspension lift. I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether or not I can fit 35 inch tires on my truck with that lift? I can handle a little bit of trimming but don't wanna do anything major. More specifically I'm looking to fit the 35x12.50R18 Toyo MT's. Any feedback would be great, thanks!

You will more than likely have to chop the cab mount and trip alot of fender for that to fit. I am getting my cab chopped and welded next weekend to fit 33's.

Yeah trimming would need to be done, which would include the body mount. Maybe look into adding a body lift, but don't know if anyone has made one for the 5th (don't know if its different from the 4th) yet.
The rear you should be ok, just get the bump stop lowered so when flexing the rear tire doesn't damage the fender well (check out Overland Warehouse, they have one for the 4th that should fit).

My tires are 33x12.50x20 and I needed to trim the liner but did not chop my body mount. You will need to do both to fit 35s. I would love to see how you get this accomplished because when my 33s are done I want to move up to 35s too. Good luck.

Fitting 35" on a 4th gen takes some work and massaging, not sure about the 5th. A bunch of plastic had to get cut back, in addition to body mounts. If you're going to drop that coin on stage 6, think about re-gearing. Better to do it before you bust them on a trail.

I would love to see it!!!
Definitely a body lift is needed. I am running 33's, I think they are technically 33.5" and I had to chop my body mounts, trim heavily and crank up my front coil-overs a lot. I am probably lifted a full 3.5"-4" up front. I do not rub any more with all the mods but really no room left. Another inch tall plus the extra width is going to be a tight squeeze.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. Anything is possible as you probably know

And I 100% agree with Pitbull about the gearing. I really want/need to re gear mine now after the 33's. Going to be that much worse with 35's!

Tire Size
I just called Toytec. I have a 2013 Trail edition and just put the 3" ultimate toytec lift on. I asked them what size tires I could put on with stock 17" rims. They said 285 / 70R /17s. What is the experience you folks have had if any with this. Cutting needed Etc. I wanted to put General Grabbers on it 33X12.5 / 17s is there an offset and or back space needed to fit these tires? Thanks guys!

Celebrating the three year anniversary of the last post in this thread I see...plenty of other "will they fit" content on here.
