I agree, seems that Toyota deleted too many things that should be standard.
1 more: top mounted oil filter ala 4th gen v6.

I meant 1 single button (master button) for all.

Guess I'm not picky. Less nose dive and chrome on my SR5 would be nice. Some interior pieces are pretty sensitive to scratches.

Maybe I'm just a Toyota homer, but I really wouldn't change a thing. I'm in love with this truck. I would consider this the finest Toyota that I have ever owned (Toyotas are all I will buy). I love the look, the quiet interior, the engine, handling, sound system. For me (and I am pretty OCD), they nailed this. I get some of the other thoughts about changes, but for me, Toyota nailed the most important stuff.

1) HID (wife's venza has it)
2) LED tails
3) Power liftgate (wife's venza has it)
4) Better USB/Ipod navigation (haven't used it in ages cuz I hated it so much. I just stream my iPhone via BT)
5) Integrated antenna (windshield or the sharkfin, again like my Venza).

How about:
Tail gate glass opens with remote AND closes
Secret compartment in glove box like the 4th gen
A little more rearward seat travel for us big guys
A nav easier and more convenient to use like a Garmin
A better place to store parking change

How about automatic headlights? My old 1998 GMC Jimmy had them and now my 2010 4runner does not??? My 2001 olds alero also has them. The doors sound so tinny when you close them. BUT I bought my Runner because they are reliable.

Ya I have....and you're correct, it does make a HUGE difference. I traded in a Mercedes for my 4R, hard to get use to the loss of the niceties I had with it.

Central Vacuum System - Easy Clean up of Dog Hair
HAL 2000 System - Screw the Nav system - much better
Knight Rider LED Sweeper - Look good in the TE Hood Scoop
Gun Turret - Who needs to flash HID's just blow them out of your way
Chauffeur - He/She can roll down all my windows and open all my doors

Mud Flaps or Not on a 5th Gen?
OK guys, I'm a Newbie here (actually I'm an old Newbie because I owned a '99 3rd Gen for over 15 years) I do miss the Horizon Blue Metallic!
I've got a '16 5th Gen SR5 now. Just installed BFG 265/70/17 KO2's and a Daystar 2.5/1.5. It looks fantastic and the ride is improved from the factory Dunlops - terrible in the snow in Lake Tahoe btw. I'll post some pics very soon.
This weekend I'm installing NFAB Dropdown Steppers. The question for this Forum is: Factory Mud Flaps or not? I think it might look a little "Busy" on the bottom with the steps joining up with the flaps. And a lot o the pics here tend to be flapless after modifications.
Give it to me straight.
Thanks.

You bumped a 7 year old thread with a post that isn't related to it in any way. Off to a solid start

1. DIESEL (great gas mileage, low end torque, increased towing)
2. OEM Lift Options
3. Power tailgate
4. LED running lights
