Seat Replacements.. Need advice!

Ok, back to the drama of these seats.... Again, love the truck, but can't drive more than 20 minutes without my back killing me. I was thinking about getting some Lexus RX seats or something similar and sticking in there. Anyone know what all is involved in this? Or is there any good replacement alternative?

After reading your previous posts you apparently just have no luck getting comfortable. The best thing you can do is go to an upholstery shop and get them to fix it for you. That is cheap option. Next is trading seats except those might not be comfortable to you either. Most expensive option is to trade your 4runner in for something that is comfortable to you and make sure you test drive it for a loooonnnngggg time lol. Good thing about upholstery shop option is they can make a change, you can test it and then go back and change it a little more if you need to.

I've actually already taken it to an upholstery shop. With all of the lumbar, active headreast and other stuff in the seat, there wasn't any room for them to do anything. We tried a couple of different option but nothing really worked. My wife's Accord's seats are great, as were my TL's before this. In fact, the 04 Pathfinder and 2000 Explorer were fine as well. I actually looked at the new explorer the other day, and found the seats to be excellent, but felt like I was driving a bus. Crap.

You have leather right? How about trying a cloth seat out?
