Tar/Oil on all 4 wheel wells

Picked up my new 2011 sr5 last weekend.

Noticed a little penny size puddle that looked like oil, kinda a sticky oil.. on the rear-left garage floor, inspected and found where it was dripping from, traced it up, and its actually the entire wheel well surrounding the tire is covered in the stuff.. before jumping the gun and thinking shock oil/brake fluid, etc.. I checked the other 3 wheel wells.. they all have it.. its fairly low viscosity.. as it trailing and able to drip.. and not even summer yet.. what is this stuff? I'm in texas, so if its dripping now in penny size.. its all coming down when it gets to 105 outside..

Is this normal? Never had this CRAP on any of my previous vehicles/trucks before..

Probably dealer "rust proofing", check the undercarriage to see if it's all over. Some dealers spray a light oil on the entire undercarriage and wheel wells as a rust preventive.

Hmm.. maybe you're right..ugh!
like I need rust protection in texas too.. no salt on the roads.. I may have to find a dusty road and just get that crap caked in so it doesn't destroy my garage floor.

I'd guess that's one of those valuable dealer packs that they hose you with.
Check your sales order.
