door ding repair?

Anyone have any experience with DIY door ding repair? I just don't want to pay someone $200 to repair a couple of door dings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I love my 5th gen but the sheet metal they use on this thing is pretty dang thin, IMO.

door ding repair

Not DYI, but last fall I made the mistake of parking under a walnut tree. Came back later in the day to nice ding in the middle of my hood from a fallen nut. I used Dentmasters paintless dent removal. Only cost me $75 and you'd never know there was ever an issue. I also used them on my wife's Lexus. She had a door ding that was an actual crease about an inch and half long and they were able to get that out too. That one cost a little more, but I've been very impressed with their work. Hopefully I won't need them again...

Google paintless dent removal for your city. I had to dents pulled from my Benz last year for $120 bucks. Came out looking great for dirt cheap.

High end detailing places often have someone they use to remove dents as do all dealerships. You could always ask them for a name. I've used the same person to remove various dings from my wife as well as my car over the years with amazing success. He's expensive but knows exactly how to get in between panels, etc to achieve the best results. I've found that if I wait until I have at least 2 dings then I get a better deal. Usually it's $40 per one very small ding but if I have 2 he charges $60. If the paint is not broken then if he's good you should never be able to tell that anything was ever done.
