TPMS sensors

Hey everyone,

I just have a quick question..

Has anyone had any problems using the sensors that came with their 4Runner on your new sets of wheels. I plan on replacing my stock rims and getting a set of Pro Comp 7005's 17x9 and using the same stock tires..for now. I want to save a little $$ and if I don't have to spend it on new sensors then I could use them on a set of new tires.

Thanks for your help!!

No problem at all. Just make sure to have the tire shop remount your old sensors onto the new wheels.

That's a great point you brought up. When I had my new tires put on the shop gave me a whole load about replacing the sensors...it is not necessary, especially when the sensors are practically new.

Aside from the warning light on the dash being on all the time. Are there any other issues with just using regular non-TPMS valve stems?
