Productive day yesterday.
Finally got my Gibson Exhaust and Shrockworks sliders.
better pics will come when the weather cooperates.
Not exactly psyched about the Gibson exhaust. I may end up having to go back to stock, if the boss lady throws a fit
Uses OEM flanges:
view from below
Pipe hangs a little too low for my taste; will be doing more adjustments when weather permits:
Even at this angle, it is hitting the heatshield (which i've already bent quite a bit to fit it), and i'm still having rattles. Will address this when it is warmer out.
Overall, exhaust sounds pretty good, however, it is louder inside the truck. Will see how wife feels about it next week, but overall, it is louder than I'd expected at the low RPM.
I'll try to make a video of the interior sound in a week or so.
Video:

sliders don't stick out as much as I thought they would; and, boy, were they a pain in the ass to install!

Think you'd be happy with a flowmaster super 70ii imo ! Same basic canister size as oem but sits up tighter & doesn't hang like that !

Perhaps, I'm starting to like it more and more, to be honest.
took care of some rattles.. will be adjusting piping more soon. Overall, even the wife lady is ok with it. I may have jumped the gun on the loudness

I don't know how I missed this post. Great photo's and glad you got it adjusted right. There is a lot of adjustment and flexibility on this system.
I have these priced super well but price is going up sunday. Get in on this while you can!
Burtman Industries 4th gen Exhaust Link is for the single rear exit.
If anyone wants the dual side, call me text me at 717-319-2100 (it's more than the single of course, but I will help out)

thank you.
Main reason was that SAWs rusted out and one of them cracked.
The ride difference, however, was SO worth it, too. Had I known sooner, I'd have changed them out regardless.
Gah, I also realize I didn't note that I got rid of the gibson exhaust (their "stainless" option rusted out in two winters). got a proper borla set up, and it was a win on all fronts

I'm going to get a catback for my 2016, but cant decide on which one. In videos, Gibson sounds good, but Borla sounds too quiet. The new Flowmaster sounds nice in videos as well, but everyone is saying they drone something horrible. MagnaFlow seems to be a popular choice, but there aren't many sound clips on it and that price.....
Can you provide your opinions on the Gibson vs. Borla?

I would rather have stock exhaust back than gibson.
their garbage rusted out on me so bad that i had to cut it off. they also wouldn't honor their warranty; I had nothing but excuses from them.
I am very pleased with Borla, however.
It lived through the winter without even a fleck of rust and it sounds great.
Gibson is loud and droning, too; if your rear window is open, it's hard to have a conversation.

I wonder why they won't honor their warranty if they outright state that it has a "lifetime warranty."
I didn't see your response until today. I ended up ordering the SS Gibson from Jason B. I really wanted a side exit and the black ceramic tips made it harder to resist. I was torn between the Gibson and Magnaflow. Jason said he sells 5 times more Gibson and in 15 years has never had to warranty one. He also said that the MF sounds too loud for some people and I don't want something that sounds like I have it straight piped. I guess I will just have to wait for it to get here and install it to see how it sounds for me.
What does the Borla sound like? I haven't heard any of the 4R catbacks in person, but the Borla sounds the same volume/note as stock (in YT videos anyways).

Ironically, they wouldn't cover me because I bought it through him and paid via friends/family PP, they didn't take it as a valid payment, and when I showed them the pictures they claimed that something else had to be done to the piping to cause the damage (there wasn't).
in my talking to the shops, they'd mentioned that it is a fairly common response.
Magnaflow exhausts pretty much always are loud, I feel like it is their brand (I've owned a fair share of them on other vehicles).
I hope your experience with gibson will be better than mine.

I hope so too.....it's been 13 days since I ordered from Jason and I haven't had any updates. I texted him too and he didn't answer; sure was lightning quick when I was trying to decide what/where to buy.
