Paddle Board on Stealth Gobi rack or LED light bar on no rise?

2 Questions.

1. I would like to transport my paddle board and I am considering the no rise option so my Paddle board wont hit the front rise. I really like the Gobi rack with a double row led light bar which apparently wont work on a no rise. Does anyone transport a paddle board with the standard rise in their stealth Gobi rack? It seems like with a attachment similar to the Thule SUP Taxi the board would be high enough to clear the front bar.

2. Has anyone added a single row led light bar to their Gobi Stealth with no rise
?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice Rack!! I usually only say that to the ladies. I have a Gen1 so looking for a rack solution to only secure to the topper. When the top comes off, I want the rack to stay with it. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Bump
I have this exact same question. Love the double light bar look but also looking to transport my 9 foot surfboards, (prefer not to hang them out of the back window or inside of the car) so a no rise would seem more functional.

@BendYoda @Immortan joe

i have the setup you're asking about, i had to dig around to find a pic with a light-bar, and it's not very good but gives you an idea. i just use a 30" yakima pad on the front-rise-bar and another on the rear crossbar with some ACK cam straps holding it down.

- you can run a dual row light bar
- there is very little board fore and aft of the straps, so no wobble or worry about snapping boards
- cheap af setup

in this post / 2nd pic, you can see how the yakima sup dawg (usually used on the gf's forester) works on the gobi rack. 3rd pic you can see the board strapped on just no light-bar

Thanks Cody! Looks Awesome! Great to know I can do a double row light bar with the no rise. I will definitely be going with that model. Any chance you could tell me what light bar that is?

sorry for the confusion, i was referring to Bendyoda's "Does anyone transport a paddle board with the standard rise in their stealth Gobi rack?" and copied you to show the boards can be transported with or without the rise. the bottom board is a 12' sup

mine is the standard gobi rack with the rise in the front, a double row led might fit a no rise, but if it does it will sit higher than the rack and would then make sup transport more difficult
