Thanks for pointing that out... My buddy sent them to me and I figured once I got into his video site using the password "bachelor" once, I could then take those videos and post here without any issues, but I thought wrong.

Thanks man... I'll try to get more pictures and videos from the trip up soon. That first picture in the wash was a perfect surface for a game of football, you can see one of my buddies catching a ball next to the 4Runner. Had a nice 4 on 4 game in 90 degree heat!

Video

Here's a video that I was really looking forward to seeing but the camera view doesn't quite give it justice. This hill had a very steep angle and if you look closely around the 42sec mark, you can see the right side of the vehicle lose footing and nearly roll over. In person, this scared my buddy in the Tacoma behind me into taking the easy way down rather than follow me...

Great photos and thanks for sharing! The campsite looks pretty plan (I live in Washington State where we have lots of trees and lakes...and bugs and wildlife...), but it sill looks like a good place to sit in front of the fire and have a beverage or two.

Thanks Shamish, we do have mountains here in So-Cal too (We actually drove through them to get to the desert), but it would have been in the 30's at night that weekend compared to the desert which was 90 in the day and about 70 at night.

I'm sure in the middle of summer though, WA would be a much nicer place to camp. The best part about desert camping here is that we don't need to find designated camp sites and can just find any nice flat spot off a trail and call it home.

Just made a little trip up to Mammoth area and stayed at June Lake. Not much snow this year but made a couple day trips to some really cool spots. Mono lake looks amazing and we got a chance to drive up to Bodie, which is the #1 preserved ghost town in the US.

It's a really easy run... But there are a few side trails you can take for a little more fun. Unfortunately my buddy didn't film any of the harder spots.

I've never felt the need for a locker, yet. There were a couple times when Atrac kicked in and definitely helped out though.
