tire question crunch time

Ok my lift components are supposed to be arriving today (radio 2.0 full kit OW,LR uca's). If I can wait ill install it tomorrow (most likely be up all night tonite putting it in) and ill need tires. I plan on using all 3.5 inches of lift (with diff drop).

What size tires can I fit with this kit there has to be a few t4r's out there that have done this, I'm using stock wheels and 1.25" spidertrax spacers for now. I understand I could fit 285 70 r17 with a little plastic work on a 2.5 lift. What I want are 285 75 r17 since I'm going higher than 2.5 will this work the same. I don't mind tweaking plastic but don't want to be hammering on the metal.

I've searched on here and can't seem to find a straight forward answere/link, anyone done this or have some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks 2011 sr5 2000 miles 1month old (just couldn't wait).

I know how excited you are. Just installed the 2.5 full Radflo kit and picked up my vehicle from the shop today! I was actually amazed how awesome the vehicle feels. My stock Trail Edition suspension almost seemed harsher to me and to my wife who was along for some test driving this evening.

It really does feel like marshmellos.

Very excited to get out climbing, camping, and adventuring this summer!!!

Let us know how it goes! I am sure the 2.0 will be quality.

I am going without a diff drop or spacers. Spacers are not ideal IMO. It could just induce other issues. I am planning on an ARB bumper. Despite much of the rave, I really like the ARB bumper. Really like Sams and others rigs with the ARB.

I need winter capacity for chains, so I'm undecided what size tires I'll be running come winter. Right now I have stock sized tires and actually I think it looks rad. I'm sure bigger tires would look fantastic too but I'm toying with 235 80 17 for winter.

I finally got a chance to finish my rig (minus some fine tunning and an alignment) and it went together well. Only came close to dropping the whole thing on my head once. Unfortunately, all the tire shops are closed on sunday (no tires or alignment) damn.

I haven't had a chance to drive it yet but it does look better, kinda looked like a stationwagon to me, not so much anymore. I went with the 2.0 so I could stay in budget and still purchase UCA's, and was advised that since I don't do a ton of wheeling that it would be more tame on the streets.

I didn't install the diff drop after looking at the cv angles, they really aren't that bad. When I lifted the 3rd gen I had it was the only way I could save my cv boots, went through 2 sets in a year. We'll see how she does today.
