That is strange and haven't come across that.
And what makes it even more strange is that I own a 2013 sienna in super white and it has clear coat.

I would bet $50 dollars that the guy from Toyota doesn't know what he is talking about.

I find it hard to believe that a company like Toyota would change their paint procedures for one color for one model.

I just picked up a 14 Limited in the Dark Blue and it seems as if I look at it too long it scratches!
