5th gen chassis platform?

Does anyone know if the 5th gen platform is shared with other Toyota models? Is it the same basic platform as the GX460/Prado, FJ or Taco?

Tried searching for a while but got nothing convincing...

From my understanding.....Yes ,they are all, except the Taco's, on the new LC150 frame which is similar to the LC120 frame(used in the 4ths)that has been re-enforced with stronger steel/doublers at the weak points and extra supports. The Taco frame is different and not fully boxed.

Basically an evolution of design to fix the few fender bulge/motor mount issues of the 120's for those that wheeled them hard. I would guess that is one of the reasons for the weight gain of the 5ths as the weight sure isn't in the outside sheet metal.

They don't. From my understanding, the GX460 and current Prado, along with the 2010-FJ and the 2010-4runner use the same basic J150 platform, like Harper said.
