waterproof seat cover for easy on/off

I fish a lot with my 4Runner, getting in and out of the rig while soaking wet in waders, often in the rain. I need easy on / easy off seat covers (1 or 2 minutes max) to install at the beginning of the day, then remove for the drive home. Loose fit is ok. Waterproof good. Inexpensive. Comfort not important - I'm in waders and often wearing a jacket.

The $30 autostore variety fits well and are easy to use, but not waterproof )open nylon weave), and the cheap foam backing disintegrates too easily. Looking for something a bit more durable and waterproof, short of the $200 neoprene covers that take 30 minutes to intall. These must be instant ... I don't want to be messing with a tight fit when I should be fishing.

thanks

Grant (the same manufacture of aftermarket steering wheels) makes a "sport shield" seat cover that fits loosely over your seats. I had a set for when I went ATVing at the track. It worked out great. I believe they are fully waterproof as well.

Years ago when I lived and fished in Oregon, had the same problem. I went to a place in Portland that made boat covers. They made a custom seat cover for me made from water proof material It that had an open elastic back, and bottom. I simply slipped it on from the head rest area, pulled down and forward to the front of the bottom cushion, the elastic did the rest. Took all of 30 seconds or less to install or take off. It was machine wash/dry worked great. You might want to consider something like that.
