Limited or Trail
I am trying to decide on the 2011 Limited or Trail Edition. I am looking at the TE with NAVI and KDSS or a Limited Edition. Price is not much different, TE is 39,500 and the Limited is 41,000.
Let me know your aspects or which one is better. I am torn on leather vs the waterproof seats since I am having kids in a year it would be nice to have leather so I can wipe it down. However, if they are ventilated it would be tough to keep cleaner. I also like the push start on the limited, wife has it on her RAV4.
Any help would be nice. Sorry if this has been talked about already.

Rather paying full price for a 2011 now, I would wait for the 2012's as it will include minor changes and the bigger change being the addition of Entune. So If you need a 4Runner today; buy used. If not wait for the 2012's.
Now to answer your question; One of the main reasons people go with the Limited is because of the All-time 4WD as opposed to the Trail Editions' Part-time 4WD. Also the limited has the push-start and "touch the door handle" to unlock and also the buttons on the outside of the vehicle to lower the rear windows and a host of other "fancy" features, Hope I helped.
EDIT: Also Welcome to t4r.org!

They also seem to want good stereos, as Toyota upgraded the SR5 and Trail grade models with standard Sirius radio, Bluetooth and a USB port with iPod connectivity. Limited models get Toyota's new Entune mobile technology interface as standard equipment with a JBL audio-navigation system an option. The Entune setup is optional on the SR5 and Trail models. And last, and most certainly least, SR5 and Limited trim 4Runners will be available with power-retractable running boards.

This has been discussed ad nauseum. Please use the search function. I realize your new, but search has been around for ages on just about every forum I've ever seen, it's a very easy feature to use - saves time, saves duplication, and saves members throwing things at you *grin*
That said, here's a few threads I found rather quickly with the search function.
Limited vs trail
Need Input on Ride Quality - LTD vs. Trail
Trail w/KDSS pack. vs. Limited w/Torsen
Good luck, and welcome to T4r.

Thanks
Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I am going to go with a 11 Limited T4R in the Magnetic Gray with Black Leather. I will eventually get a pair of 17 inch TE rims for my winter tires, but other than that I probably won't do anything for a long time. Thanks for the input and looking forward to the browsing this forum.

This website pisses me off! I did the same thing. Posted " show your 4runner with black wheels" All people said was search and then the thread got closed. Bull****! I didnt want to search and search through crap just to find black wheels, would have been a lot easier for people to post there picks. Now find myself on the fj site cause you can find threads like that.
