running the mixture wont hurt in 4wd or anything.
I run this mixture all year around no matter what im doing highway offroad you name it im running a mix.
Your starter should creep the truck forward when your in gear.
i still think your clutch is the problem! nothing in the transmission would go in and out of action its ether broke or not.
I think you need to pull the tranny off and get a good look at the clutch.

If you can get a video of the problem that might help me a little more.

1. how many miles are on the transmission.
2. what clutch did you buy?
3. did the old clutch completely destroy itself?
