Why are we continuing to help and perpetuate click-bait sites by posting them here?

The 6th Gen TRD Pro should come with a skyhook just in case you get REALLY stuck and there's a C-130 Hercules conveniently flying nearby

I'd like to see additional colors. Living off of a gravel road, I'm not thrilled about only being able to select darker colors and white for the trim levels i'm looking at. If given the option, I don't want a moonroof!

Reading this thread makes me wonder why we bought 4Runners? LOL
These things have none of the equipment/features that we want. Think I'll ask my wife if she will trade her AWD Highlander for my 4Runner TRD ORP. Then I can get the Highlander lifted, add some skid pates, Order some TRD Pro Badges, Maybe even change out the grill, and pretend I have a 4 Runner loaded with features.

I think for 80% of 4Runner owners a Highlander would be the better choice...many of those 80% don't even know the technical differences and were just buying based on looks and dealership availability.

I thought the other 20% would be the ones to frequent 4Runner online forums - surprised to find so many of the 80% here.

I bought the 4Runner because it doesn't have all those gimmicks that make modern cars appliances. I wanted a body on frame truck for off-roading. Start/stop and other stupid features would have been a deal breaker.

Same here. To me all these "features" mean the potential for expensive repairs in the future. As for that Start/Stop feature, I hate it. I turn it off every time I drive my wife's Highlander. Of course it turns itself back on each time you get back into the car and start the engine!! LOL

No KDSS!!!

Mine failed. $6k plus to fix. One shock leak. I agree. No more expensive things to fix!
If you take it off-road, things will break!

Or a lifetime warranty!! Ha! Ha!

#5thGenProblems

How about a cup holder that stays in the console whenever I lift my yeti for a sip of coffee.

Quick list of my latest wants-

Comfier seats.
More knee room up front.
Better mpg.
No "clunk".
Better rear visibility.
Optimized interior space (cubbies/ nooks/ legroom/ rear storage area).
More engaged transmission feel/ better driveability/ better low rpm grunt.
And yes I'd like all the safety sense, rear collision avoidance, lane departure warning stuff standard.

But so far I've got 117K trouble free miles while my cousin same year and miles just put over $6,000 into his Tahoe and it's still not right.
