Nope. The 3.5 is not a truck engine and has huge customer complaints in the Tacoma. Word on the street is it will disappear from the Tacoma due to this which I hope it does. I bought a 2016 Tacoma brand new, traded it in after 3500 miles, couldn't stand it. Bought my 2016 4Runner brand new and couldn't be happier. If we're talking predictions and fantasy worlds, I hope the 6th gen has an aggressive look like the 5th gen but has a V8 option.

I had a 2016 SR5 Tacoma and I tried my damnedest to make the 3.5 bearable.
Tune, exhaust, cat delete, intake.
NOTHING made as enjoyable and derivable as my 2019 4runner.
I hope that 3.5 disappears.
