Will the 4Runner survive past this generation? I don't know if an electric 4runner will sell. Or when they say 100% electric by 2030 are they including hybrids?

No, hybrids are not considered electric, further, the 100% number only applies to Lexus in North America, not Toyota. However, since Cybertruck, Rivian and Hummer's are all electric, I would think there will be an Electric 4Runner to compete in that market, based on it's Lexus GX cousin, that will become electric, if we read the tea leaves correctly.
Of course, we could see a 4Runner EV even sooner if they base it off of the EV Pickup they showed.

And a few different options like the new bronco, sr5, a premium model and an off road model like trd.
Roll up back window. And better frame materials so it doesn’t rust like the gen 3’s.

Agreed, too bad the front ends aren't interchangeable like the old fox body Mustangs. I would take the front clip off the Land Cruiser style and put it on a 5th gen.

Early pics of the new sequoia look to me a lot like the LC300. It's pretty likely it's just a scaled up LC300. Might even look better? I really hope it keeps the LC styling up front. If it does - it'll be a good seller.
Unless it's $100k. Then it'll sell just like the LC200 did.

It's gotta be the Sequoia. No 4Runner has been spotted yet. This has been spotted testing along side the new Tundra, which is no shock given they'll be sharing the same power train and assembled at the same factory. Plus Toyota has hidden this in the image, basically saying it's the Sequoia.

Pretty clever of you to tweak the exposure settings to find that hidden text. Good job.

Agreed. Definitely the new Sequoia. Ordering for the shortened 2022 model year ended months ago, so it was only a matter of time before the new model was announced.
There are some images of what’s likely the Sequoia (based on the teaser) and not the Grand Highlander, as originally speculated, on this site:

Oh I wish I was the one clever enough to do that lol. I think it was Autoblog or some site like that that discovered it.
