Got my 2021 Venture May 31 and like it. But I have one issue that I am VERY disappointed in. The NAV system basically sucks, by that it seems to show only main highways. If you stay on them no issues but any other roads secondary or dirt, forget it. Its funny it shows dry creek beds that haven't had water in them in years but not the roads that go by or over them. I didn't notice it while test driving, but that was on main roads. You would think a vehicle for off roading would have a nav system that shows secondary and other roads and their names. My wife's 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee appears to be generations beyond the 4R and does a GREAT job on that but not the 4R? Its like this is a 15 year old 1st gen nav system. Its not that big of a issue to do a software upgrade to keep up. They put all the "safety for idiots" that don't pay attention while driving gear in them that added thousands to the price why not a better nav system?

As a second question, is there any way to see if this system has any upgrades available? Cant find anything saying how to do that? The JEEP does.

We picked up our 21 Venture on Aug 6th. Love it! when I registered all the free stuff one of the things it prompted me to do was update the nav system once it was connected to wifi. I have zero problems with the nav, I trail every weekend in the Ozarks and it sometimes even shows trails the giai and usfs maps dont have. Id take it in and have the service tech see why if you cant get it to update.
